Cell phone reminds you about meetings, birthdays
Is life getting more hectic and harder to keep organized?
A new reminder service sends text messages to mobile phone screens to alert users that they have an appointment or task to do. Called MemoText, the service allows users to send themselves and others text messages at scheduled dates and times, to remember birthdays, meetings, soccer games or even a favorite TV show.
Parents can set up text reminders for their kids, or a spouse can pre-set messages to themselves to make sure they go home in time for dinner.
Using the MemoText calendar system, users can set up repeating or non-repeating messages to any cell phone in the world. If plans change, messages can be edited or deleted at any time. The service also offers encryption technology to protect all transmissions and transactions.
